10 go to hell in a hand-basket
разрушиться, развалиться; разориться; ≈ пойти ко всем чертям, пойти прахом...he thought that one of us - he didn't really care which one - ought to go into politics. He said that the city and the state were going to hell in a handbasket, that everything political in this neck of the woods was in the hands of crooks or absolute fools, and that it was high time the family stepped in and began to straighten out the mess. (E. O'Connor, ‘All in the Family’, ch. IX) —...
Beyond his physical well-being Casey at the age of forty-four had developed a protective skepticism about the woes of the world. It had been going to hell in a handbasket since the year zero as he frequently put it, and if it weren't who'd need to hire a Marine? (F. Knebel and Ch. Bailey, ‘Seven Days in May’, ‘Sunday’) — В свои сорок четыре года Кейси обладал не только прекрасным самочувствием, но и изрядной долей скептицизма.

11 GO
Go (to) — сходить по-маленькому.
Go to the can (to) — сходить по-большому.
Go to the john (to) — универсальное, мягкое и наиболее популярное выражение для все тех же "сходить", в обоих вариантах.
Go bananas (to) — сойти с ума (слегка и в обоих смыслах).
Go for it!
Go all the way (to) — заняться сексом и дойти в нем "до конца" (это не каламбур, просто как еще выразиться?). См. All the way (ALL).
Go on (to) — болтать безостановочно, on and on, and on...
Go down in flames (to) — впечатляющим образом провалиться.
Gone (he is) — в отключке (наркотики, алкоголь - что угодно).
Go the extra mile (to) — приложить дополнительные усилия.
Go the whole nine yards (to) — сделать все, что только можно.
Go to hell! Для этой типичной ситуации есть еще замечательные выражения: "to go to hell in a handbasket", "to go up in smoke".
Go up against (to) — имеет значение противостояния, вызова.
Go South (to) — исчезнуть,сбежать.
(*)
Go down on (someone) (to) — полный синоним пропагандировавшегося нами ранее выражения "to give head". COW CHIPS).
Go fuck yourself!

“I heard of them from Alain Johns’s father. It must have been not long after we returned from Mejis, for after that there wasn’t much more time before everything… what is it you say, Susannah? Before everything ‘went to hell in a handbasket.’ In any case, it was Burning Chris who warned us that if we ever went todash, we might see vags.” He pointed across the street where the naked dead man still stood. “Such as him yonder have either died so suddenly they don’t yet understand what’s happened to them, or they simply refuse to accept it. Sooner or later they do go on. I don’t think there are many of them.”
